2023 UPDATE:
This Project was finalised in May of this year with the presentation of funds to allow for a visiting doctor from Bhutan to visit and stay in Adelaide whilst being trained. He has completed this and has returned home to Bhutan to help work with his local community there.
It has been unfortunate that due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have not been able to have a full involvement with our Project work. Specific fundraising activities to support our International Projects have not been able to be implemented, although there were many great ideas flagged at the beginning.
There were hopes to get this work up and running but it is currently on hold. That has meant that our Club’s commitment to provide annual funds was also postponed.
